You're One Dream
©1987,Chuk Mac Donald
Listen to Troy Cloney and Gavin Coughlan's rendition.
Listen to Chuk's very first recording of this song.
1st verse

I dreamt we were walking
Along the shore
Heard your voice so sweetly
Taunt the ocean's roar.
I almost felt your hand
Holding mine.
  "You're...one...dream...I
Can't get out of my mind."
  "You're... one...dream...I
Can't get out of my mind."

2nd verse

I thought I saw you standing
In a crowd
I tapped you on the shoulder
And when you turned around
I felt like such a fool
Again to find
  "You're...one...dream...I
Can't get out of my mind."
  "You're...one...dream...I
Can't get out of my mind."
  To Bridge

3rd verse

Friends say that time
Will heal this wound
I only hope it happens
Real soon.
I could say "I don't care"
But I'd only be lying.
  "You're...one...dream...I
Can't get out of my mind."
  "You're...one...dream...I
Can't get out of my mind."

Notes
A slow haunting song

Bridge
I see your face in the swirling sky
Feel your warmth on the coldest night
Hear your voice like a lullabye
On the wind....time and again.
