© 1989,Chuk MacDonald
Listen to Troy Cloney and Gavin Coughlan's renditio.
 1st verse

 It may be late

 But it's still too early

 To think about goin' home!

 So play that guitar

But don't take it too hard

 If we get lost

 Somewhere in the song.
  To refrain

 2nd verse

 Forget your troubles.

 Let's tell some stories.

I've got a good joke you might not know.

 Let's get delerious

And if you came with somethin' serious

 Won't you please leave it

 Outside the door.
  To refrain

Refrain

 And I've got a bottle

 Barely be'n open

 And that ol' whiskey

 Might go bad.

So let's drink to good friends

 And drink to good times

 And not say a word

 About "Goodbye".
