Referrals to Inspectors

         Purchasers should avoid getting referrals to Inspectors from Real Estate Agents

            AGENTS HAVE A CONFLICT OF INTEREST when giving out names of Inspectors because
            Agents, in general, earn their livelihood from completed sales and their fees ultimately come from
            the Vendor.
            At the moment, there are no Canadian Federal or Provincial regulations prohibiting Real Estate
            Agents from directing Purchasers to Inspectors.
